AWARDS:

Reed Advertising Award

mwfilms was proud to work with Miami-Dade County’s first female Mayor: Danielle Levine Cava!

During our time working with the campaign, we created state-of-the-art video advertising. These videos aired for over 2 million residence of Miami-Dade County; the digital ads were viewed by millions of people across the nation. The Mayor’s launch video even garnered a coveted Reed Advertising Award.

Our photographer worked with the digital consultant to provide photos of the Mayor for campaigns’ award-winning digital ads and website.

Production services for news organizations

During the turbulent 2020 election cycle, mwfilms was hired to provide production services for a confidential video shoot featuring Amy Dorris, a former model who came forward with her experiences about a being sexually assaulted by the former President. Our production was small to keep the information flow air-tight. With this small crew, we created an interview set-up that linked with producers in London, England. The story went live on 9/17/20 and remained on the front page of the Guardian’s website for the entirety of the day.

The 3 documentaries mwfilms directed for Empowering Wellness was used to lobby Florida Lawmakers in legalizing medical marijuana.

Stand With Parkland is a gun reform advocacy group in Florida. This group is made up of parents and spouses of those who lost their lives in the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglass School Shooting.
